In your daily use, mainly when you are away from home: to avoid consuming the data traffic included in your offer and, above all, to continue listening in the absence of an Internet connection, you would like to be able to play Spotify in offline mode.

If this is indeed the case and you are still wondering how to listen to Spotify offline, let me give you a hand and provide you with all the information you need to succeed. In addition to the detailed procedure for downloading a podcast and playing it without a connection, you will also find instructions for downloading albums and playlists, both from smartphones and tablets and from computers.

All you have to do is set aside five minutes of free time to devote to reading the next paragraphs and carefully follow the instructions I am about to give you. How to listen to music on Spotify offline

In addition to podcasts, would you also like to listen to music on Spotify offline? In this case, you should know that you need to activate Spotify Premium, which allows you to download and play both albums and playlists offline. Find everything explained in detail right below.

How to listen to Spotify offline on Android

After activating Spotify Premium, you are ready to download the content of your interest, so that you can also play it offline.

If you have an Android device and intend to download an album, then start Spotify, press on the Search option located in the menu below, and enter the title in the field C0sa do you want to listen? displayed at the top and, in the new screen displayed, tap on the cover of the album you want to download.

Alternatively, you can also specify the name of the singer or band you are interested in, select the Album option, in order to view their discography, and tap on the cover of the album you want to listen to offline.

At this point, on the album screen, you just selected, all you have to do is press the down arrow icon to start downloading all the songs.

As I mentioned in the previous lines of this guide, it is not possible to download individual songs. However, you can create a new playlist with the songs you want to download and then start downloading the playlist in question.

To create a playlist on Spotify, press on the item Your library located in the menu at the bottom, tap on the + button, at the top right, and select the Playlist option from the opened menu. Then enter the name in the field Name your playlist (you can also avoid doing so by selecting the Skip option ) and, in the new screen displayed, click on the Add songs button.

Now, enter the title of the first song to be included in the playlist in the Search field and, in the search results, press the + button for the song in question to add it to the previously created playlist. Then repeat the procedure for all the songs you want to download.

Once this is done, access the Your library section again, select the Playlist option, make a long tap on the previously created playlist and press the Download option from the opened menu. Alternatively, tap on the playlist name and, in the new screen displayed, press the down arrow icon to start the download. Please note that it is also possible to download Spotify playlists created by other users. Also, in this case, all you have to do is access the main screen of the playlist of your interest and start the download of all the songs contained within it, by pressing the down arrow icon.

To view all the albums and playlists you have downloaded, click on Your Library and select the Download complete option. Now, tap on the title of the album or the name of the playlist you want to listen to and press the ︎ button to start playing it.

On the main screen of the album/playlist you downloaded, by pressing the down arrow icon again, you can remove the download.
