How the Covid Pandemic Affected The Hospitality Industry

Back at the end of 2019, the frightening news of a deadly disease spreading from a province in China started to escalate and very quickly every Country across the Globe started to see their infection rates soar!  The number of Positive Cases rose exponentially and the British Government brought in tough, legal, isolation policies that saw the Hospitality Industry severely hit.  Restaurants, cafes and bars were forced to close their doors to loyal customers and dedicated, hardworking staff were ordered to stay at home.  Unfortunately, many hospitality businesses couldn’t find a way to diversify and never reopened to customers again!  Those that did manage to survive had to think outside-of-the-box and made money by delivering food and drinks to individuals isolated in their homes.

Eventually a vaccination was found that slowed down the rates of infection and then gradually made it possible for restaurants, cafes and bars to reopen their doors and try to entice their customers back into their establishments.  Again, it was those Hospitality Venues that thought outside-of-the-box and had a modern, innovative Pager System installed that had been purchased from a reliable, experienced company such as  dinggly.com that started to see their customers’ numbers increase significantly.

This revolutionary Customer Service focussed Pager System allows the Diner to take control, which after the regulations of Covid makes a dramatic and positive difference to their dining experience.  Covid no longer dictates when and where people could go and what they could do!
