Parents of Lords of the Fallen, Deck13 have provided details of his next project, a role-playing game with a unique combat system where we start body parts rivals to subsequently integrated into the body of the protagonist and thus improve it. It sounds like fun right?
The Surge is set in a futuristic world where humans live poorly equipped suburbs exoskeletons to be level machines. The large, non-linear game world opt for a system that, without being a fully open world allow unlocking the map and go back to places already visited to open new areas.
In addition to evolve our hero, the RPG elements are also present in other characteristics such as decision-making system and secondary missions that will affect the development of the central story. The most important decisions will be at certain times of the adventure. In this respect it seems that the game will break too beyond what we know in games of this kind, but its setting and the combat system seems to be the main attractions.
